What should I watch next ????

Post by Sakura-chan »

Okay, so finally March will be over :D. For others, it might not mean a lot, but for me, it means that I finally have some bandwith left !! You see, I use the university server and I get to use a whopping... 8 Gb per month :bawl... and that includes BOTH download and upload. Story of my life /sob...

But anyway, enough whining :D. So, since I'm limited on bandwith, I want to ask your opinion on what anime to watch next :).

To date, I must have watched about 30 anime series and movies, mostly CLAMP and other shoujo anime. So, basically, there's a lot to see and not much bandwith to use :l .

So, if you think I should really really see something, this is the time to tell me and try to get me addicted :D !

And please know that it's quite possible I haven't seen even the basic shows that everyone has seen /swt.

Oh and well Naruto ain't really possible considering the number of episodes. I would really want to see it but I don't want to pay for unofficial dvds and I don't have enough bandwith :bawl...

Have you seen HxH yet? :love2 If you haven't you should!!!! :D

Hmmmm.....Elfen Lied is good (and short). You might have to get over the gore, but the storyline is INCREDIBLE.

My next project is One Piece, I have it on good authority it's good.....

In the fear of being attacked by HxH fans, I will admit that I have not yet watched it /swt. Everybody's been telling how good it is, it might be what I will watch next :D.

I don't know much about Elfen Lied. One Piece is already on my list, but if I recall correctly, there are a lot of episodes, so I'd better wait.

I'd like to have more suggestions here, so please take some time to post :D !! Thanks !

8gig only

Post by metheus »

That's rather stingy. I know student's can be abusive of bandwidth, but 8gig per month only? Surprised students at your school aren't rioting in the streets. Normal use like gaming, net radio, surfing, etc should use far more than that cap. Maybe they just wan't people to move off campus, for me it was the mandetory meal plan at my school.

8O I just read the summary, this looks awesome !!! And there are so many good seiyuus in it too :drool.. I have to see it ! But it's 45 episodes, that means it will probably take me 3 months to get it all /sob . Anybody wants to help a desperate anime addicted fangirl ? /kis

And Kisara, Gravitation is also on my "must-see" list. But since it's only about 12 episodes, buying the official release would cost a lot for only that number of episodes. And I can't seem to find good files on the net.

lol But then I'd have to wait for it to get mailed here and everything!

I know this problem doesn't seem every logical, since I can't find it offline, but still. . . It goes against everything I believe about instant gratification if I order it (i.e. I should have what I want right NOW. . .ALWAYS!) :P

Have you watched Escaflowne or Ayashi No Ceres? They are both great and are fairly short. Those are about the only two that I have watched that don't have tons of episodes and I would recommend to anyone.

Although a little harder to find, you could also go for some golden oldies for a change: Captain Harlock, Cobra or Macross/Robotech.

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

I've already watched Escaflowne . But I have not watched Ayashi No Ceres, although I know I should X| . Guess that's on my list too :D.

Rozen Maiden looks great and doesn't have too much episodes :).

Scrapped Princess looks good too and has some seiyuus I like too ^_^.

And as for your suggestions Gabriel, they are classics not to be missed. I've seen some episodes of these, but not all of them, so someday I'll have to watch them all :D.
