What should I watch next?
Well, having just finished the emotional roller coaster that is FMA I am now looking for another anime release for my free time! I put up a poll comprised of stuff I have or soon will have. Help me decide!!!!

Hikaru no Go!! Its such a great series. You might think a series about a board game would be dreadfully boring...but no! Wonderful characters, music and story make this one of my more favorite shows ever!
And a show I think you should start that isnt on your list would be Gankutsuou. I'm only on ep 10 of this show, but so far its blowing my mind. Its art style alone should be enough to make everyone run out and start watching this immediately.

start with hellsing!!!
its nice and short, and is in my top 5 of anime series
then got to either naruto or bleach
naruto will be a long haul, so you may want to break it up with another series.

Although it never ceases to amaze me how Hikaru No Go manages to make a visually boring subject as Go as exciting as they do, even for someone who only gets the basic principle of the game.
However, I went for Bleach, because it has (up till now for me (eps19) ) a great mix of action and comedy.

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

I totally agree some of TV episodes are really wasted episodes (for example, like train episode, etc etc....

But you must watch kyoto arc!!!!!! Seriously it is really good

Kenshin starts off very slowly -- it takes its own sweet time to really establish the characters. That's part of what makes it so impressive once things cut loose -- you really know what is going on in the characters' minds. It's really all about the psychology in many ways. BUT!! Once things get really rolling...my gawd, what a ride!
I chose Hellsing from your list, because it's just bloody creepy (pun intended). Besides, you must watch both Hellsing AND Trigun before you see Trinity Blood. It is a requirement.
Gankutsuo... boy do I ever agree with that. You seriously don't need the very last episode -- not that it was *bad*, just that it was not needed. There are a few episodes of the series that got a "Wow!" out of Kymaera, and that's as high a compliment as I can imagine for a series!
(Plus.. the Count is too darn sexy. Picture Zelgadis with confidence and charisma...

Bleach was my vote as it's one I want to see too. I see that Hellsign is fairly popular but I found that to be a very mediocre series. Some episodes had me wanting to turn off but I endured it. Maybe it was the Engrish translation I had? Still, the Butler kicks ass. The overall character designs were pretty good, let down only by the animation.
As much as I wanted to vote for Bleach, Juuni Kokki, and Hellsing, I realized that you put Naruto season 1
If you haven't seen anything of this series yet, I would like to be the first to welcome you to the Naruto-dark side
Naruto, Naruto, Naruto.........watch this in sub before you accidentally watch it dubbed

I voted for Fruits Basket because it's a mere 26 episodes and you can get on to another fantastic show very quickly. However that aside, I would have had a 3-way tie for:
Bleach
Fruits Basket
Hikaru no Go
All of these rank among my absolute favorite anime and it really just depends what you're in the mood for. Hellsing is incredible too, but for some reason in summer, the more light-hearted stuff seems more appealing.

Man, that was hard! It was a toss-u;p between Furuba and Bleach just because. . . ICHIGO! *cough* But honestly either one is bishielicious. If you want action. . . go for Bleach, if you want more of a shoujo, go Furuba. There. Did that help? Probably not. *giggles and runs-away*
I'm with Remi. Any would do.
