What Episode Cheers You Up the Most?

Post by LinaLoN »

When you're depressed and feel like the world is against you; what is the one episode of your favorite show that you always put on that cheers you up?

Mine would have to be the "Lina in Wonderland" episode of Slayers Try becuase it's wacky, silly pointless and I have everyline of Lina's memorized so that I HAVE to say them with her! Nothing like penguins dressed up in army outfits, shouting; "Don't interrupt my march!", shooting pellets at someone in an Alice and Wonderland costume to make you feel better! :)

My cat Temperance I call her Tempe for short.

My cat Seeley is a Sailor Moon fan, too!

I didn't anticipate on having a black female cat and a white male cat or I would have named them Luna and Artemis... oh well.

Just about any episode from Galaxy Angel or Excel Saga works for me.

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

Most of the Dirty Pair Flash series usually cheers me up... I think the episode "Snow White Chaser" is the funniest, tho :D

I would say Kenshin OVA Seisouhen but this makes me more sad.... (obviously).

But I watch the OVA and cry like crazy. Then, after crying I do feel better ;)

That is what I usually do.

SOmetimes, I watch Samurai champloo and this definitely makes me feel better :)

It's hard to be gloomy while watching nearly any episode of the random silliness that is Fumoffu. :)

Saint Seiya, episode 57: Ikki vs Shaka. Actually this episode is quite depressing, Shaka removing Ikki's 5 senses one by one (see my picture on the left? That's blind Ikki), but the artwork is wonderful. Each shot is just perfect. A very emotional time in the series.

Hmmm...I agree with some previous posters: FMP Fumoffu? is a great series to watch if you need some comedy in your life, as well as certain episodes of Samurai Champloo (the baseball episode comes to mind...)

Kyou Kara Maoh usually cheers me up (particularly the Bee-bear episode *points to avatar*), and Angelic Layer never fails to make me smile because it's that darn cute!

Haha, that baseball episode was great. Maybe I should try that too...

But typically any light comedy, especially ones like Azumanga Daioh and School Rumble.

I don't watch a lot of happy, wacky, comedic or fun stuff, but I've found lately that watching Mai Otome or Ichigo Mashimaro puts me in a good mood. :D

Mai Otome is NOT going to be a "pick-me-up" show for the entire series though obviously.

Hmmmm, it depends what I'm looking for. If I want to laugh, I put in Fumoffu. If I want something sweet, I'll watch certain episodes of Inuyasha (don't want to say which ones in case of spoilers). If I reeeeaaaallly want something sweet, to the point where I need a pint of ice cream as well, I'll watch the second CCS movie.
