TCM's anime night

Post by duotrouble »

Just in case anyone forgot, tomorrow night (Thursday) starting at 8pm is Spirited Away followed by Princess Mononoke. Then immediately following the English dubbed versions are the English subbed versions starting at 1am.

Me too! It's easy for us in the US to see the dub versions. But I really wanted to see the sub versions. I hated Princess Mononoke dubbed. Hollywood actors are for the most part NOT voice actors! I started watching the sub version and liked it so much better.

Well, every Thursday night this month they're airing 2 of his movies. Next week is Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind and Castle in the Sky. :)

I prefer all of Miyazaki's works over any Disney movie from the last ten years. Miyazaki's direction is alot more fantastical and magic than any of the work that's gone into the recent Disney movies.

Yes, but this was back in January. Don't worry! You'll get the hang of all your new channels soon.
