In 20xx, a civil war broke out in a small country in Asia is getting hard in spite of dispatch of UN forces. But a picture taken by accident in the battle field accelerates the peace process. It is a picture of a flag. Although they are enemies, they cooperate together to fly it in a sanctuary, and the flag becomes the symbol of the peace. However, just before the peace agreement is achieved, the flag is robbed by an armed extremist group in order to obstruct the truce. UN decides to send SDC (Special Development Command) and a cameraman to record their activities. The cameraman is Shirasu Saeko. She is the cameraman who took the picture of the flag. At first they think the mission is easy because they wear latest armed suits, HAVWC(High Agility Versatile Weapon Carrier), but they gets in trouble by unexpected attacks.

A junior high school student Yamada Kyo and an elementary school student Yamada Asu are sisters, and they are living alone. Their father ran away leaving gambling debt, and the mother has already died. In spite of this unhappiness, they don’t gloom but they are living brightly and happily. Because of the law changed a few years ago, Kyo can work now although she is still in junior high school. She works as a paperboy or a tutor to support the family. On the other hand, Asu do housekeeping jobs such as doing the meal, cleaning the room, and even handling the household finances to help her elder sister. There are kind people around them, such as the landlord or a novelist Saegusa, and they watch over the sisters gently. They experience a lot of troubles and hard times, but the happiest thing for them is that they are nearby. This is a heartwarming story drawing daily events of Kyo and Asu living in a small room of a 40-year-old apartment whose rent is 26,000 yen a month.
I read the beginning early part of the manga and it seemed pretty cute. This is one of those unusual situations where the younger sister has long hair and the older sister has short hair. I wonder if the mangaka did that to balance the two sisters out. ?^_^?

This anime is based on a game by Candy Soft. At first, it was released as an adult game, but later it was ported to PS2 platform as a non-adult game by Princess Soft.The game is a typical dating simulation that takes place in a high school. However, the selling point of this game is that all(?) the female characters are "tsundere". The story revolves aroud a high school boy Tsushima Reo. He isn't engaged in either sports or study, and he is always hanging around with his childhood friends, Samesuga Shinichi, Date Subaru, and Kanisawa Kinu. He secretly loves Kiriya Eria. She is a daughter of Kiriya Cooperation, very beautiful, smart, and a student leader. However, her acts are very eccentric. Therefore, at the same time she is loved by many students, she is hated by as many students. One day, because the main characters are being late for school, they try to sneak into the campus. However, a girl knocks them out to catch. It is Kurogame Otome. She is Reo’s cousin, and Reo thought of her as his elder sister when they were children, but they haven’t met for years. Soon, she begins to live with Reo in the same house in order to change his lazy life. In this way, he encounters various girls and makes friends with them.
Boy...what the heck. You can tell how much they changed the game's artwork from clicking the two links. The anime artwork is the top link and the games artwork is the bottom link. They turned the tough looking female gaming characters (which separated this game from a lot of others) into cutesy characters.
EDIT: Apparently the anime director didn't care for the game's characters designs, the game's stories or tsundere characters. The point of view in the anime is from a new character. So this anime is nothing like the game at all.

Phantom is a special force organized to watch Regenus and to suppress the renegade elements of the Logos. The story revolves around Saya with complex web of many people's motives.
