I second that sentiment though Zag. I stopped watching at 81 and I just can't even bring myself to DOWNLOAD them, much less WATCH them!!! :

Well . . . didn't old man Yama say that they wouldn't have to worry about Aizen for about a year? So I'd say that the fillers will last a total of one year.

Oh, and btw . . . one of my friend's younger brothers actually likes the fillers. He had never seen any Bleach before, and he was describing an episode to me (something about being in a cave and level five enemies coming out when only level ones were supposed to?) when all of a sudden I had this sudden urge to strangle him . . .

Yep..

I was distressed when Naruto got too bad to watch and turned into a dumbed-down version of... something. But this is even more distressing, to me.

My EIGHT year old, mind you -- who discovered Bleach and absolutely tore through the first sixty-some episodes -- said "naaah, I don't want the next part. This Bounto stuff is kinda boring." And there you have it. Indicted. Badly busted.

I thought "kinda boring" was a wonderful little bit of understatement, personally

After watching the last few episodes of Bleach, I've started referring to pretty much any filler in any anime as the "Bounto" part Never watched a more dissapointing filler arc before this At least the manga is interestingly chugging along at a satisfying rate IMO ^_^

The universal dislike of these episodes gives me an almost undeniable urge to watch them! What can POSSIBLY be this bad?? I must find out! (I have managed to NOT watch Bleach when everyone was fawning over it at the beginning... It would be a strange twist of fate if I finally watch during the sucky parts! hahahaa!)

I've only watched up to ep.20 or 25 but I am up to date with downloading the episodes.

At least Chad's quiet. And thank god, so is Nova. I hate Rinrin.

BTW, did anyone else notice how UGLY they've been making Ishida lately?
I mean he was no prize before, what with having no lower eyelids, but at least he could pull off a "cool" look every once in a while. through the 80's episodes, it's like he's wearing a "+2 bandage of Oogly" or something. His hair is just straight triangles, his glasses aren't even an accent, they're just in the way. and he looks like he's constantly on the verge of crying. (Well, okay, so he is.. God knows why. Some chick he knew for 6 minutes who could spin a good sob story ran off and got herself axed. And that's your problem because... ?!)

Ah well. I'm just waiting for Uruhara to stop dicking around trying to get Ichigo's power levels back up. That's what this is all about right? I've seen shorter story arcs in Dragonball Z! >_<

OK, I am going to step away from the majority here,
and say that personally, I don't think Bleach has been
all that bad. The storyline could be much worse, and
I think the fighting in the last few eps has been pretty
good. Ichigo is starting to step things up - it was
great to see Byakuya again, and the fight with Kenpachi
wasn't too shab.

Walks away - not even afraid of the tomato throwers!!

Since I've last posted in this thread, the fillers have been picking up a little bit in action which I'm happy with. That fight between Kenpachi and that one Shinigami was really enjoyable. But maybe I'm biased because Kenpachi's one of my favorite characters and any screentime for him is good

What I'm REALLY happy with is the new Opening and Closing! It's almost like they're preparing us for the greatness that awaits us in the current manga arc Anyone else like the new Opening an Closing?
