Inquiry on some other anime's of Rumiko-san
There's a couple I really like that I think was done by her, unfortunately (or fortunately?) I think they're another one of those smaller unknown series... One is Mermaid's forest and the other is Rumic Theater. Does anyone know if they made cels for these two?

Yeah, Fire Tripper was one of those as well. It's part of Rumik Theatre I think. I collect cels from that ova and you can view them in my gallery if you would like. I'm pretty sure I've seen Mermaids Forest and Scar cels in the past as well. Cels from these older one-off animes are rarer. Oh one more is Maris the Chojo or something like that.
I'm sure there are a few more that I can't think of.

There were two OVAs made from the "Mermaid Saga" manga. They were "Mermaid Forest" and "Mermaid Scar". Presently, they have only been made available through Viz on VHS ( which are long out of print, now ) and "Mermaid's Forest" is available subtitled, while "Mermaid's Scar" is only available dubbed. Cels *are* available, but are extremely hard to find.
The majority of the manga series was recently turned into an anime series, and is considered part of the "Rumic Anthology Series". It's CG, so there are no cels, and even then, the genga is extremely hard to find. I was extremely lucky to find what genga I did, and they're posted in my RS gallery, if you are interested in looking at them.

Yes, Maris The Chojo aka Maris The Supergal aka Supergal. Laughing Target was another of the early Rumic Theater series that was released on VHS by Viz. I'm not sure if they've ever compiled them onto DVD or not.Sugarflower wrote:Oh one more is Maris the Chojo or something like that.I'm sure there are a few more that I can't think of.

Oh wow… Thanks for all the info guy/gals. I’m a little sad though to hear they are harder to find and that the Rumic Anthology Series is CG. Mermaid’s Forest is one of my most favorite shows.
