Anime Voicing in action!! Azumanga, Mai Hime, Saikano

It looks like they put up Storyboards on the screen and the seiyuus really get into reading the scripts!

I would collect scripts if only I could read them!!

But you should check them out... I loved them!

The Saikano one is from the ending... It made me cry again! /sob

Cool. Thanks for posting those. I've always enjoyed watching these. I never recall seeing seiyuu act in front of storyboards though. That was interesting.

It makes sense that they might use more than one screen if they were using a larger cast. I recall seeing them act for the first Kanon anime and they were using one big screen. I guess it depends on what studio they're using, etc.

It was nice to see Mai Nakahara acting.

In that Kanon (2002) voice acting segment you could see the seiyuu trying to match their voices to the mouth movements of the characters and not always being successful. You need to have very good timing. :)

Awesome! Thanks for that! Although I did like 'Cat Head Theatre' (which came up on the same page) which was also good! Hahah! :)

Thank you for the links; that was great. I watched the one from Mai-Otome as well. It's fun to see the expressions the different actors make for their characters. The crazy high-pitched voices seem even crazier coming directly from their voice actors (like Kaneda Tomoko).
