Ah My Goddess Repro and/or Rilezu

How come I don't see any for the new CG series? I've seen two cels in rubberslug galleries that I think are repros, but have never seen any others. How do these people find them?

I've seen some on YJ but they are not listed with the regular AMG cels. Most were of Belldandy but she looked too sad to me.

Actually I got an email with that link as well. But I'm having a hard time navigating. I get the new section, but the other section I can't tell if it's sold rilezu or for sale cels. I'll figure it out I guess. heehee. Thanks so much y'all. ^_^

I feel kinda weird asking this but what exactly is a relizu cel? I've not heard that term before. That link has a lot of nice cels there...been searching for some nice AMG sketches but not finding the ones I want...

P.S. Urd's mom is hot stuff!

ROFLMFAO! You crack me up. Urd's mom rocks. Back to Rilezu cel....it's a post production cel from the production company. They make one of each scene from the more popular scenes generally. It's the next best thing I guess to a production sketch when there are no regular cels.

Oh wow! Those are nice. I've managed to mostly avoid rilezu cels so far,
but I do find them very tempting.

A relizu cel is a post production cel from a CG show made from the original or reproduced genga. Rilezu's are one offs unlike most post production cels in which several of the same image are produced.

There are 3 main houses for producing Rilezus.
Madoka Ltd. , Anime World Star & Office FAO
Each has certain shows licenced to produce rilezu's for.

I've not seen the second season of the TV series, so I can't wait when I get a chance to because of Urd's mom!

Thank you (and JWR too) for the information on what a Rilezu cel is.

They must go for a pretty penny too then...so where have all those pretty TV series sketches have gone to??

They don't last long. I know TK got a killer set recently. Mandy has some occasionally, but the drag is most sets I've seen on Mandy and YJ are of rough layouts. Not the nice looking genga most other shows have. I have a feeling the ones that we've seen so far weren't supposed to be released from the studio......like most new CG show artwork.

I'm still holding out hope of Season 2 Episode 17 genga and rilezu.

GK, I looked at the site sletia posted, and the only Rilezu they have done are from the first episode. You can see them if you click on the first picture of Belldandy turning with the pink swirling around her. The title of the page starts with:

第１話

That means first episode.

So, once you click there, all the pics are of pre-made rilezu. The ones that have the red writing under the picture (ご予約済み) have been bought/reserved.

On the main screen, the second picture of Belldandy appears to link to a preorder page--or just images that they plan on making into rilezu. In which case, if the Urd you're talking aboout is on this page, I think you still have a chance. Let me try translating some more and I'll get back to you.

EDIT: Okay, I may have lied about the second link on the main page . . . I'm having a hard time tranlsating it, but it may be a gallery of cuts they've already done.

Confusion is setting in and now I'm getting obsessed.

I didn't know there were rilezu for the TV series either. There is a criminal lack of Urd in the first season selection. The pan of Belldandy with the cat is really nice.

I wonder how often they release new ones... Good luck landing your desired rilezu, Goldknight.

I think Ah! My Goddess TV has had a decent number of sketch auctions compared to a lot of shows...many of which I haven't seen anything from or have only seen a few auctions of roughs. Those layouts were actually pretty nice; I regret letting one of them go.

Lol! I'll help you out a bit... The first episode link is for rilezu from the first episode of the second season. The second link is for all the rilezu they have done from the first season.
