Ergo Proxy....Question? (SPOILERS)

So I just finished watching the show. I have to say that I needed to watch the last two episodes a few times in order to understand exactly what the hec was going on. I found the plot to be really complicated and not as well explained. But they give you just enough information to let you resolve some of the issues.

The questions that I still have left though...


1. Was Proxy I trying to destroy everything or was he trying to make new colonies?

2. Why did Vincent erase his memories? Was it because he didn't want to remember what he was programmed to do?

3. What was it that Proxy I wanted Vincent (Proxy II) to do at the end? What was his request?

4. What was the story with Real Mayer at the end? (the one with the wings)....was she a proxy as well? and what was her purpose? What was she supposed to accomplish?

5. If Vincent and Real Mayer were lovers before then howcome she only received her wings (became complete) at the end?

6. Why was Vincent not a full god?

Any answers would be appreciated. The series game me a headache but it's definitely worth a watch.
