"It" refers to there were some collectors talking about that issue some time back, I think.
The Three Laws of Robotics:

Is the creator of the Loveless manga male or female?
Might be my imagination, but it seems like I often prefer your average female character designer to your average male character designer.
Female character designers seem more likely to make both the MALE and FEMALE characters attractive whether it's for shoujo/shounen/josei/seinen manga, anime or games. At least...that's the impression I get from what I've been exposed to.

I like the voice of whomever it is narrating that clip. Love the Japanese sound of "zero zero". 
I hope they have a good storyline and some great mech designs besides just pretty pilots. Regardless, I'm sure I'll have to watch because, unlike redwolf, I have a tad bit MORE than zero interest in Gundam.
