There's been wild speculation whether or not the blacked out time slots on the upcoming [as] schedule meant that there was a new show coming. I personally lost on the bet, believing there was no way a nearly actionless show was going to make it to the action line-up. Apparently, Viz pushed hard to get the air-time... and won.
Death Note will be premiering on Oct. 20 at 12:00 a.m.
The only problem is, of course, that it's dubbed... which kinda sucks.
Still - Death Note on [as]... who'd a thunk?
