So who else is addicted to Bleach??? :P

Post by Carla »

So who else is addicted to Bleach??? :P After watching 154 episodes over the past 2 weeks Yep it's official I'm now addicted to watching Bleach :rollin
cough* no wonder I can't get any of my scanning done cough* :P

To be honest at first I wasn't sure if I would like this anime because it kinda started off slow but then it got really good when
Ichigo, Ishida, Orihime and Chad went to Soul Society to save Rukia from being killed.
Who else thought the
Bounto series was extremely BORING??? :| I did watch all the episodes but YAWN it was had staying awake :crackup
and now Bleach is getting REALLY GOOD :D I can't wait to see what happens will
Ichigo, Rukia, Ishida, Chad and Renji be able to save Orihime??? :^^: Or will they all die miserably???
So now waiting for the new episodes to come out it's going to be a long wait :l

So anywho I changed my avatar to
Ulquiorra Cifer  You have to love his eyes!!!
So he's my favorite Espada who is yours??? :) and cough* if anyone haves a sketch of him and wants to sell cough* let me know please cough* :D

I also saw the first bleach movie: Memories of Nobody
I thought it was pretty good but I think the second movie
The Diamond Dust Rebellion look better; has anyone seen it yet???

Well I'll be quit now I just wanted to see what other people thinks of Bleach so far??? :)

I loved the first arc where they were trying to save Rukia. Totally enjoyed it, but since then I've been a bit disappointed with it. The manga isn't any better. Just seems like the same ol' battles with hollow after hollow. :roll

Yet

For some reason I still watch it and still read it. :emb Not sure why. I will admit I too like the Espada in your avatar whose name I can never pronounce. I just wish the series would move a bit quicker and get to a new arc. Then again....I'm very impatient. :sweatdrop

I may just rewatch the first arc again since I enjoyed it so much. :jump[/spoiler]

This was the same thing with me. When I watched Bleach several years back I really enjoyed the first arc. However when the fillers hit, I lost interest and just stopped watching the series... Nothing really has made me interested in returning to the series either. This same thing happened with Naruto, lost interest around 135 and haven't gone back.

Side Note: Currently watching capeta, anyone who hasn't seen this title, I Highly recommend it, its truely an awesome series. The last ep was released today as well.

My brother started recording the series last week off the TV and we have a dozen or so episodes backed up. I may begin watching it just to see what the fuss is about but I don't think I'll enjoy it. I'm more of a purist when it comes to samurai-based things.

and behold;
things did get worse...

It has nothing to do with Samurai.
It's a great show and I love it!

Welcome to the club! It's a great show - action pack, full of hotties, enough angst and humour :D It's very gd when they stick to the manga story like the soul society arc and now. I'm juz a lil' concern if the anime is progressing a lil' too fast, almost catching up with the manga.

I like Bleach too. Although, I have the exact opposite feelings about it than you do. I didn't like the "operation rescue Rukia" saga. YAWN! Too much leveling up and Rukia acting all weak and innocent after she'd been shown to be such a bad ass. Major disappointment! On top of it all, the writing sucked. It was all over the place introducing a thousand characters that I couldn't give a flying flip about.

Then when Bleach got to the "fillers", that's when I got hooked. My man Uryuu Ishida was the main focus. Oh yes! I can watch anything if he's in it.

Of course, I'm digging the "operation rescue Orihime". They didn't mess up Orihime's character for it. Kudos to the Bleach staff! :)

Yep, Goldknight I totally agree with you!!! There are a lot of episodes that are just pointless in Bleach :| darn fillers X| but then again if it's a long anime series there is bound to be a lot of pointless episodes example

don't get mad at me :dlook
like in Inuyasha, DBZ and Naruto
Even though Bleach is long and drags on too long I like the Characters and Storyline I guess that is why I keep watching it and reading the manga :P Thats what they do they get you addicted then drag the story on longer because they know you will buy more merchandise :rollin

EternityOfPain thats to bad :l Bleach bored you and then you lost interest :P Thats ok if your interested in going back to watching Bleach just move to the rescue Orihime episodes those are the episodes I like

or maybe I just like them because they have Ulquiorra in them :crackup

Oh yeah this reminds me I still have to watch Juuni Kokki I'll get to it soon I hope

Krafty Yep go watch Bleach when you have time :) You never know you may get addicted too :P

miz ducky I can tell your addicted too :rollin I can't stop watching it now I want to see what happens???

Cordelia ha......ha..ha!!! Darn those artists for making the guys so hot :P Yep I love the hotties and the funny humor!!!

duotrouble OMG!!! Thats so funny :crackup I warn you he is mine :P

I agree it was hard remembering all the new characters names they introduced them all at once that got me a little confused @_@ but you have to like how Ichigo and Ishida kicked some butt :P

Oh and I don't like
Rukia she to much of a wimp
Now that where into the rescue Orihime episodes I hope there is no more boring fillers and MORE ACTION??? Will have to keep watching to find out :)

Cloud Do you like Bleach???

:rollin Carla I will admit that all anime has the fillers and slowdowns, but for some reason Bleach is annoying me more than Naruto. I will admit that I got sick of Inuyasha and simply still read the manga hoping the story will finally end. :emb I don't know...I rather enjoyed seeing so many new characters during the Rescue Rukia arc. It kept me interested in learning more. Seeing the same three or four people as we are right now is a bit annoying. Outside of Nel the other hollow that are with them really bug me. There are no "cool" side characters this time around. The Rukia arc had all the very different captains and teams as well as Urahara, Yoruichi, etc. Now we have Chad (whom I have never liked), the Quincy whom I merely like for his Sasuke voice :emb :emb , Rukia who for some reason they want to make out as weak, Renji (ok he's my eye candy), and Ichigo  . I'm reading the manga so I realize other characters will eventually show, but still not enough IMHO.

SHOW US SOMETHING NEW!!!!

Ok enough of rant. Now I'll go watch more bleach for reasons I have no idea. :rollin

I've been enjoying Bleach since it started in 2004. It's the only "power-up" type show that I've really enjoyed.
I only watched Naruto to see what all the fuss was about, but I've never been a fan of the show. I can't stand DBZ where they spend the first 10 min recapping, and then 5 min on new stuff, and then the last 5 min tell you what will happen next ep.

I did enjoy the Bounto fillers because it was an arc of its own instead of a crap load of misc eps (*cough* Naruto *cough*).

I think that they are making an effort to show Rukia as a strong shinigami, but she is surrounded by unusually powerful characters so I guess she comes away looking weak. I think she needs to figure out her own bankai and then she won't look so weak compared to the others. I think that when they showed her fighting the non-arrancar then she looked like she could hold her own.

I think that happens quite often.

That's my point. Since I don't read Bleach's manga, I didn't know when I was watching them that they were fillers because they had a storyline. As much as I love Naruto, the fillers are killing me. :hurt: Almost done with them though. Ep. 211 :D

I know this is :topic from Bleach, but the Naruto fillers don't end at all (but I don't read the manga so there is a chance that I'm wrong). The Naruto fillers end when the series ends. I kept hoping and hoping through out the torture of endless Naruto eps that they would get to the point, but they didn't. The series just ends and then Shippuuden starts.

Back on topic:
I can't wait to see the latest Bleach eps. I had to give it up when I came here for lack of access, then someone managed to find a way to get new eps, and now we're cut off again. So you can be sure of what my computer will be busy with when I get access again.
