I can practically guarantee that I will buy this in one form or another. I really like the show. Maybe it will be discounted the first week it's out at Best Buy...
Well RightStuf has them up for their standard discount.
Disk 1
Box set 1
Most preorders get a 25% discount, though, so maybe they'll fix that in the near future. I'll keep an eye out for when it does.
Blood+ finally coming out on dvd

Finally!!!!
And the best idea they had is to release directly a boxset with the first 25 episodes. I won't miss them.
I wish they would include a widescreen version as the shinsen-subs fansubs i have are 4:3
Also, i hope it has a japanese audio track. I'm not sure if i can trust Sony with this and not everybody in the animenewsnetwork is sure of it.

Not that I'm aware of. I think it's a rare occurance if a R1 anime comes out With no Japanese track. But, since Sony doesn't release many anime, I understand that some people won't be able to accept it until they see how it comes out.Keropi wrote:Are there a growing number of R1 DVDs that don't come wth Japanese audio tracks?

Yep, that's the main reason, and also that the original Blood movie didn't have a japanese audio track, but that was because the original movie was released with a mix of japanese and english, so there's no japanese audio "only" track of the movie (that i know).miz ducky wrote:Not that I'm aware of. I think the polite term is "mentally ill. "

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
