I ususally buy my dvds online since it's easier for me to catch a sale that way. I did buy Paprika at Christmas time since I was walking around Walmart and saw they had it. It'd been at least a year since I had bought anime at a store prior to that.
I believe the last anime DVDs I bought offline were the "Memories" and "Witch Hunter Robin Inquisition" DVDs I got back during my trip to the Portland, Oregon area in March-April 2005. I bought it at a Best Buy there.
After those two I think the most recent was my "Sentimental Journey" DVD that I bought from my local Torrance, California Best Buy store. I think it only cost $19 for the entire 12 episode series when I got it back in ?Nov 2004. Quite a deal for me since I'm a Senti Nut.

I can't remember the last anime DVD I bought in a store. There's just nothing around here that carries decent titles at a reasonable price. Target do sell a bit of anime, but their selection is horrible and it rarely changes. EB Games used to sell anime but at huge prices.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Best Buy is my friend! It's less than a mile away so I pass by it all the time. It's not unusual to find me there on a Tuesday. I always like browsing the new releases. When they don't have what I'm looking for, that's when I go shopping online.
I think the last DVD that I ordered online was Piano this past summer. i prefer to go to the store and touch and look at my DVD's first.
It eluded us then, but ...tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms further...and one fine morning- So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
I mix buying my anime online (usually from amazon.com) and buying it in the store (usually Best Buy). The last Anime DVD I bought in the store was Bleach Vol. 7... Before that was Deathnote vol. 1.
