It's interesting comparing this trailer to the international one I watched this morning.
This trailer focuses on many different characters and had a bit of comedy in it. The international trailer I watched earlier focused on the racing dynamics and more on the action/seriousness. It's nice to see the two different takes on it.
The racing scenes look pretty hectic-crazy.
The colors in the movie are very bright. As a kid I always watched Speed Racer in black and white. I've only seen Speed Racer in color a few times after that.

At first I was excited when I heard they were making the movie, but after watching the trailer I think I'll wait and rent it.
Looks silly to me.
