Now she attends Hakusenkan, an ultra elite school, that costs her carpenter father a lot of money. Hikari and Kei are the top two students in the school, with Kei holding firmly to that number one position. The story primarily focuses on Hikari and her constant attempts to defeat her one and only rival, Kei, and how she finds love in their rivalry.

Is Kaname's infatuation with Yuki the beginning of a forbidden romance, or is it something in her forgotten past that draws him to her? Because in this world of secrets, nothing is as it seems. ANN has this series listed at 50 episodes. I can't confirm if that's accurate or not. I heard that the manga's been going for forty years so I'm sure they'll have a lots of stories to pull from if the series is that long.

Despite the manga's title, which literally translates as "The Daughter of 20-Faces," Chiko is not actually related to the criminal lead character of Edogawa's "Kaijin Niijuu Menso" novels. However, the "Kaijin Niijuu Menso" character and another Edogawa creation, the detective Kogoro Akechi, do appear in Ohara's manga.
