Ok, now I have read the manga, so I should have been prepared, however,

When Jiraiya died, I cried like a baby.

I think it was animated well, and they did a good job telling
the story. I held in there real well until he talked about
what he should name the sequel, and then Naruto felt his
Jiraiya's hand on his shoulder. That was when I broke down.

So tell me what you though, was it true to the story line??

I'm like you Nida.

I knew what was going to happen and I still lost it towards the end when he touched Naruto's shoulder. Actually I was losing it before that as he was sinking.

Oh man. They did stay fairly close to the story line. Some things happened in different order, but for the most part I was pleased with how they did it.

I've been yawning through the past couple of episodes.

I never cared for Jiraiya so when he died, I actually said "finally".

I'd been spoiled on it happening because I don't like reading shounen manga but let people tell me goodies on certain series.

My favorite part was

the teaser for next week. Ah yes, a true Sasuke fangirl squee shrieked through my home at that moment.

I can hardly wait for the upcoming episodes!!!
There is supposed to be a 2-hour special with the
brothers later this month, I'm sure I'll be
watching alot closer than I did the past few eps.
GK, they can draw out this arc as long as they like!!!!!!
