FOTNS for real, interview of a Dim Mak expert

Post by iceman57 »

The DIM MAK interview (recorded May 2008 by Benoit Spacher for HokutoLegacy.com FOTNS native french speaker fan board) :

Benoit Spacher (aka Iceman57) :
It's always interesting to see where in the world are located "Hokuto No Ken" fans and to discuss with them. Some of the board members already know Erle Montaigue.

CJ Adams (aka Pathofhonor) :
I am honored for this chance to speak to other Hokuto fans about what for me is coming up on a ten year project. Most recently I have relocated to Reno, Nevada and have been a fan of Hokuto No Ken since summer 99’. I started into martial arts at seven yet I did not truly begin upon the path until sixteen. At this time I was accepted by my teacher in the system of Tae Kwon Do Chung Do Kwan (Blue Wave School). A year after while channel surfing one boring summer evening I chanced a look at the “showtime beyondâ€

Interesting, thanks for posting this. Obviously the exceptional moves perfomed by characters in FOTNS are not true to life, but there is some basis for their techniques which exist in reality.

Thank you for this warm welcome.

From what instructor Christopher Adams explained me, Hara Tetsuo and Buronson often analyse years of documentation in their projects.
See the result in "Soten No Ken" in the ancient 1930 south China.

We also reported him some paralysing moves applied a decade ago to a FOTNS fan board member in Canada, and he confirmed that they were not Dim Mak moves but some nerves hits that occur local paralysis.

Fact is that several used techniques are existing, and this TV series has more credibility than "Dragon Ball Z" ki projections.
Christopher's dream is a true book summarizing all those comparatives between Hokuto Shinken and real technics.
