Spring 2010 Anime

Post by Blaster »

The first list of Spring 2010 anime has surfaced.

http://chartfag.wordpress.com/2010/02/1 ... g-2010-v1/

Not rally a lot I'm interested in this season. Actually, the last few have been fairly light for me.

Angel Beats - I've been looking forward to this for ages!
K-On 2 - Don't judge me :P
KissXSiss - Enjoyed the OVA's, so I'll give the series a go. Wonder how toned down it will be?
Ikkitousen Xtreme Xecutor - My guilty pleasure for this season

OVA's
Black Rock Shooter - I think this is on just about everyone's list. It's ahd a lot of hype.
G.A - I really liked this series (though I seem to be in the minority)

Seems like a lot of sport series' this season. Probably why this will be a light season for me.

What's on everyone else's list? :D

Thanks for posting that. I don't know much about these titles at all.

Hmm...my reactions:

Angel Beats sounds interesting since it's a game and was written by KEY.
Ichiban Ushiro No Daimaou --- I've read the first six chapters of. It seems okay so far. Nothing extraordinary yet.

B Gata H Kei --- What the heck? Quite a story summary there. 8O :? :)
D.C. Da Capo Ext --- I hope they actually do it right this time.
Mayoi Neko Overun! --- sounds okay
Shin Koihime Musou Otome Tairan --- I'm surprised this show is still going on to be honest (a third season). Not really my thing.

Yutori-chan --- What the heck? I've already seen the first four episodes. No wonder it stopped coming out. Not so much into it though.

Black Rock Shooter --- the preview looked pretty good
Haiyoru! Nyaru-Ani --- heck if I know what it's about
Tales of Symphonia Tethe'alla Chapter --- maybe
Negima OVA 3 --- Cool. The action has picked up lately in the OVAs.
Darker than Black OVA Special 2 --- Yeah! It's what should have been in the second TV season in the first place. \o/

---------------------------------------------------------------
Judging from what is showing so far there is less bishoujo and moe than usual. There seem to be more of a female audience target than usual. And there are more "normal" anime titles coming out as well.

Thanks for posting this! 8)

There's not much on the list that I see but here are the ones I know I'll be tuning in for.

Sex Pistols
Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitte Iru
Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maou
Ai no Kusabi

And of course, I'll continue watching Bakugan: New Vestroia since I'm already halfway through it.

I agree with you on Darker than Black OVA and Black Rock Shooter, Keropi.

I was watching for Ookiku Furikabatte - season 2 and Ai no Kusabi.

Others that look interesting are

Uragiri sa Boku,
Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maou,
Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan
possibly Giant Killing.

Thanks for posting. :)

Bell beat me to it. I found that interesting. Sounds like Marvel will be bringing four different main characters to the scene. Ironman being the first. Wolverine afterwards. Should be very interesting. 8O

I wouldn't mind seeing the Iron Man. If it's available.

Usually I automatically skip over such shows when I see them listed because there's less of a chance of me seeing it. But I wouldn't mind seeing it if I'm able to someday.

That is a hypothetical question.

After seeing the trailer for Wolverine I lost all interest in even *thinking* about watching the Marvel anime adaptations.

I'm not really fond of the idea of transferring Marvel characters into anime. I can't really put my finger on why though. I guess it's just me - I seem to have very different tastes than the majority, especially when it comes to what is considered 'popular' X|

A few I'm interested in:
Kaichou wa Maid-sama!
Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan
Angel Beats
Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitte Iru

and maybe House of Five Leaves and Sengoku no Night Raid, both sound kinda interesting :^^:

As for OVA I'll be watching Tales of Symphonia and finishing up Darker than Black :P

the iorn man one is MUCH better looking...

i agree with you on the Wolverine one looking strange. :? perhaps they are just focusing on his past in japan (since he doesnt have an xmen uniform on)? im going to see it just out of curiosity.

They did a batman anime remake awhile ago and it was HORRIBLE. Hopefully it will be better this time around.
