90's Nickelodeon Is Back

Post by toonybabe »

Since many on AB have expressed how much they miss the classic NickToons...

90's Nick is coming back to TV on the Teen Nick channel starting July 25!

This has been the event I've been waiting for since 1999. It's about time Nick did something right. I think they finally realized they can't coast their networks on three sub-par shows replaying all day. It's ridiculous to see a 1990's schedule compared to today's. If I want to see the word "Spongebob" 30 times in a row, I just have to look at a TV guide.

Now if only Cartoon Network will get rid of those god awful reality/game shows and put Toonami back on.

That's cool. I hope younger kids like the older shows. I certainly remember watching reruns of older series on Nick At Night when I was little.

I want to watch Noozles again. That was the first anime that made me think, "Golly, this stuff has some real content!" Any chance of them including any of the old Saban adaptations of 80s anime? (Mysterious Cities of Gold, Maya the Bee, Grimm Classic Fairy Tales, etc.)?

Sweeet! :hello :hello
Now to check if I even have Teen Nick channel lol! :emb

Ever since getting Netflix as a gift, I've been
re-watching thru streaming some of the old 90's Nick shows like
Rocko's Modern Life and Hey Arnold!
*sigh* Nostalgia ... now I know I'm getting old LOL!
:rollin :rollin

It'd be cool if they eventually re-run some of the late 80s/early 90s
Nick Jr shows like David the Gnome and Eureka's Castle. *O*

The Adventures of Pete and Pete was one of my favs growing up! Very excited that is coming back. They never released season 3 on dvd here in the States, so at least I will be able to savor those last episodes! Are you Afraid of the Dark, Double Dare, Salute your Shorts, I haven't thought about these shows in years, but I did enjoy them, got to say though, All That and Kenan and Kel .....not really funny..... ............but thats just me! :D

I don't know if they will go that far, Sensei. But I think any classic Nickelodeon show that was popular in the early 1990's will be aired.

I would also LOVE to see the Noozles, David the Gnome and some of the really old Nick shows from the mid to late 80's! Does anyone remember Today's Special?

Salute Your Shorts?! Hells to the ya! I tried to explain the premise of this show to my sisters - a camp with a counselor named 'Ugh' and his girlfriend that could crack walnuts behind her knees - and they gave me WTF looks...they just don't know what good TV is. I loved Pete and Pete. This gal is happy!

I do!!

Being able to watch all the classic Nick shows will be fantastic. That's my whole childhood right there on that channel, heh.
