I seen these pictures on Crunchyroll's website yesterday. I think everyone is wondering about Shampoo. I know I am.

I was also thinking about how dark Akane's uniform looks in that picture.

Watching that tsun girl (from Ben-to's second episode) walk fast with her long hair moving back and forth made me think of Akane's hair from way back when.

I have to say thou, IMO, the actress they picked for Akane
is a little too attractive to be Akane, lol! Afterall, some of the
running jokes centered around Ranma's abundance of feminine beauty
and curves as opposed to her --"a uncute tomboy."
Is the last guy in the photos suppose to be the made-up badguy or
a decked out pimpin' Happosai?

is a little too attractive to be Akane, lol! Afterall, some of the
running jokes centered around Ranma's abundance of feminine beauty
and curves as opposed to her --"a uncute tomboy."

I kinda disagree for I always though Akane was physically attractive which is why all the males at her school were fighting for the right to date her. Ranma thinks of her as a uncute tomboy due to him experiencing her true personality IE the Tsundre side.

I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree as I always believed the allure
that Akane had was her personality and charm than physical beauty.

The fact she is strong, can hold her own, and is genuinely kind was always
a reason guest characters felt a puppy love for her. As opposed to Shampoo,
Kodachi, and Ukyo, who in their own ways, always vied for needy attention
and flirtatious advances to get the boy (Ranma) to notice them. I don't know
many guys non-fiction/fiction that would wanna stick around a manipulative
clingy chick no matter how big the bust size LOL! But hey I'm sure they
are out there! XD

You know I was bothered by their choice of hair/wardrobe for Nabiki
in the beginning too but after some thought, I came to really like it!
It makes sense for me that a 2000s version of Nabiki be a hostess girl, since
she is very much into being spoiled and lovin' money.
Not to say real-life hostesses/hosts are all like that (it is just a job afterall),
but in this case, it plays into the stereotype.
