dubbed anime schedule?

Post by hgeek23 »

Is there any place to see a schedule/lineup of English dubbed animes? I've seen lists of new amines for fall or winter 2011 or 2012, but not for dubbed series.
Thanks!

No, sorry. I know of no such thing. Then again, I'm one of those folk who avoid dubs at all cost. *grimace* X|

Well I don't like looking down all the time at subs and also my eyes read quicker than the voices so sometimes I read quicker than the voices!

Have you tried googling the production companies in the States? I've been out of the country too long to know who is producing dubs these days, but I remember ADV or something like that released a bunch of dubs, like Blue Seed.

Yeah, I cheated by learning Japanese. lol My excessive dislike for English voice acting drove me to it! haha

I tried googling 4 kids and funimation but got nothing. Don't know what else to do. As some know from my Japan trip blog, I have the utmost respect and awe of Japanese culture, but their voice acting I feel sometimes is way too high pitched or whiny.

To find what is coming out dubbed you might check a few places.

I would start with Anime News Network http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/
as well as some of online retailers to see whats coming out and if it is dubbed http://www.animecornerstore.com/newreleases.html

The retailers? Wouldn't I check that for DVD releases, not tv?
And thanks for the links.

Well retailers would let you know what licenced dvd/bluray releases are going to get an english dub. As far as TV you most likely need to check out Adult Swim and Toonami. 4 Kid just went belly up and their licences mainly Yugi Oh were bought up by another outfit (Sorry only skimmed that info) The one retailer I deal with RAC (the link I provided) does have a blog and a weekly emailed newsletter that updates a lot of info.
