I am sure that throughout all the different anime shows we all have watched we have been a bit surprised that a supporting character has somehow seemed to overshadow the Quote Unquote "Main" characters.
Ones that come to mind are Mikoto Misaka "Railgun" from To Aru Majutsu no Index and Rem from RE-Zero
Are there any for whom you have ended up collecting cels/sketches ect from that ended up stealing the show?

Which "Secondary Characters" steal the show?
"Like the wind crying endlessly through the universe, Time carries away the names and the deeds of conquerors and commoners alike. And all that we are, all that remains, is in the memories of those who cared we came this way for a brief moment." Harlan Ellison
Re: Which "Secondary Characters" steal the show?
In “Basilisk: The Koga Ninja Scrolls”, I thought almost all the secondary characters overshadowed the two leads, Gennosuke and Oboro. Although, I think this helped the story’s narrative, because it helped to show how they really were not in control of their respective clans.
My favorite character was Koshiro. Even though he becomes blind, he was the one who could see that Gennosuke had the best chance at stopping the killing before it really even got started and essentially chose not to.
