This is amazing news. It’s great he is still doing what he loves. Really excited to see what comes forth.
(Last I heard of him was that he was looking to make a movie of Dragon’s Lair with a kickstarter.)

Late to the party, but I really hope this is successful. I've been really disappointed with the direction 2D animation has taken in the US over the last decade, especially the decline of theatrical 2D animation. Don Bluth in particular has produced some of the most stunning non-Disney western animation I've ever seen, so I wish him all the success in the world.
