Description:From Go Nagai, creator of Devilman and Cutey Honey, comes a savage tale of betrayal, vengeance and other-worldly forces. The year is 1580 and Nobunaga Oda is working to consolidate his power over Japan.
In his army are weapons of great destructive power: rapid fire machine guns, lasers, missiles and, most frightening of all, the reputedly immortal ninja Ginnai Doma. Like a sentence of divine wrath he hunts down and destroys dissident monks, ninjas and others, wherever they may be. With the clans on the brink of destruction, a single ninja accepts the impossible task: kill the immortal Ginnai.

Plot/Story: Well to begin this films story/plot isn't to complicated nor complex.Running at 60 minutes in length it is very straight forward with lot's of action.The story starts out with Ginnai Doma attacking a smal village literally obliterating them.And in the course kills Nobunaga Oda's friend.From this point on Ginnai and Nobunaga both have there missions Ginnai to kill every last ninja and avenge his family and Nobunaga to kill Ginnai for revenge(sounds more complicated than it really is).
Animation:Well for a title coming from 1989 the animation is very well done.The animation is smooth for the most part and the action scenes dont dissapoint.There a few cheap looking things in this film that stick out like a sore thumb but you'll look past the monce some of the fighting starts.
Voicing:The dubbing in this film for the most part is well done.The voice actors do a good job at capturing the moments in this film.
Violence/Action:Well there's no hiding it this film is very violent we get some halfing, exploding head heads, gouging and just about anything else you can do with a sword.The action in this film is fast paced and over the course of an hour this film has plenty of it,it seems as for every 5 minutes of talking follows a nice 10-15 minutes of action.
Overall: Go nagai is one of my favorite artists and this is one of his older series.For the time it was released the animation is good the action is there and voicing suits this film well.So if your a buff on the ninja films and love lots of fast aced bloody action this one definitly should be checked out.
