Now This Doesn't make any sense!

I know technically they both lost.... but if they hadn't both gone "out of bounds." .... Why the hell did Goku win the Afterlife Tournament. If Pikon could beat Cell and everyone so easily while Goku was all worried about it and insisting he goes to help, shouldn't Pikon have easily defeated Goku? Goku couldn't beat Cell on his own and he had no training between that time and the time he fought Pikon.

What did he do? Mental exercises!? That doesn't sound like Goku. lol.

(sorry, I can't sleep so making dumb posts is about all there is to do)
(I also apologize if my memory of this is a bit fuzzy, haven't seen these episodes since 2001 or 2002.... need to go buy them on dvd!)

Doesn't a sai yans power increase many times over after
a fight in which they are mortally wounded or die. Technically
Goku did die, so maybe that is the reason. Not sure but it would
make since for this to happen in the other world as well since he still
does have his body and all. Or maybe Cell and the others just got
really weak after going to the other world....or it could just be another
one of those flaws in the storyline

Someone in dbt explained that Cell was caught by surprise from the speed of pikon's attack, he did the same attack on Goku on the tournament and goku didnt even have time to respond, so that doesnt mean pikon is stronger than cell

The do get stronger after dying... - and he had been training prior to the match. Plus everyone knows - as soon as a villian dies... somehow they become wussy.

Goku won against Pikkon not necassarily because he was stronger... Pikkon used the same move three (I think) times - Goku found it's weakness... and surprised him from behind.
