I voted for (future) Trunks cuz he's really cool, has a cool sword (the most improtant factor!!), a cool character design, and has a cool.. well sad, story to go along with him. A close second is Gohan, but only mid-teens gohan (cell saga) because before he was whiney and after he was weak. He's the coolest as a SSJ2.

Krilin. He's always in the middle of the battle and he shows he's human by showing fear and wanting to avoid fights. Yet he stands his grounds when push comes to shove, full well knowing he is weaker.

No, seriously, Vegeta runs a very close second for the keys to my heart ... but, for a "favorite", the big, good-natured lug wins out every time. He was my first anime love, and I still adore everything about him, from the doofy smile to the snarly, predatory look he gets in his eye once he gets serious about taking on the baddies.

If GT had not come along and ruined Trunks he could compete for #1, but Goku is still Goku, even when you shrink him

Always Vegeta, such an awesome guy.
From begining to the end you see he's character change so much through different emotions. Tough and will always hang in. Badass.

God I'm so torn.
I guess when all is said and done... Goku for me too. Gohan is such a close second... but mostly from the cell saga. I had a thing for Trunks for a while... but that waned later on. Recently though the Cocky Vegita has raised my eyebrow... in the end though I'm a Goku fan!

Never was a Goku fan untill i saw the original uncut japanese version of the episodes. But in the end....it would still have to be Vegeta :dbz:

I just love his attitude... there's something to be said for more complex characters.

Followed second by Future Trunks... he is pretty awesome.

And, I agree... the sword, as dude_moose mentioned, pretty much rocks.

Depends on the definition of complex...
Vegita is (in my opinion) goes through the most character changes of all the guys\gals (Gohan is up there as well)
But Goku is not a simple character by any means - just acts and lives that way

Understood... but I'm looking more for depth... I mean, Goku doesn't really wrestle with the same things that Vegeta does. Gohan's character changes, but still there isn't the same level of internal conflict.

But ah, well. I'm probably jaded.

Time to go pretend to sleep for a few hourse....
