I've never used that specific dinosaur name variation but I suspect if that's what you're going to call it, you in fact don't need one. Unless you've got a secret to share.

The Thing is that superhero from Fantastic Four. Certainly you women could come up with something more creative than "thing". You talk as if you're about ready to call the exterminator to get that "thing" out of your house. Might I suggest a phrase? How about "my Spouzal's Unit (tm)" as in "It looks like "my Spouzal's Unit (tm)."
