Will U.S DS Games Work On A U.K DS?

Post by K86 »

Hi

I want to import the new Kirby DS game from the U.S to the U.K but I don't know if it will work on my DS system

This game isn’t out over here (U.K) until August but it is out already in the U.S and Japan but I read somewhere that the only reason why Europe gets them later is because of the translation of the games into about 7 different languages but I believe they keep the U.S translation in so why wait for the game to be translated into different languages that I wont use, anyway if anyone knows if it will work then could you please let me know

Thank you all in advance

I've heard of it before.

I don't think it will...

I have imported games for other systems, and have needed a converter. Althought the DS has it's own screen, it has been made compatible for PAL systems - (can be hooked up to the Revolution)

Therefore U.S Games won't work...

You may want to double check on a DS board-

But anything I have purchased from Asia\U.S has needed a converter.

Since UK is Pal Like Australia... I don't need it for games bought from U.K.
...just one more

No worries, the Nintendo DS games are all region free (no region protection) so you'll have no problem playing it. I have a JP DS and used to have a U.S. DS and they both played all the DS games (JP, US, etc.).
