I've finally gotten FF XI clean. After almost a year, PC and PS2 versions later. @.@
I remember getting the betas for both and getting addicted. Got my friends addicted before the launch, after a month of playing (most of us were maxed except me because I was helping people too much) half of them quit. We had a pretty cool LS, and it eventually branched off and became another.
My only character was a WHM/BLM. Forgot the level I got her to, but it was fun chatting with people in Japanese. ^_^
So you're trying to start the "FF XI Anon" class too huh?

I played 2 Redmages simultaneously.
I would hotkey one redmage to hotkey heal half a party and the other to heal the other 3 members.
Pretty much I just make parties.
I really don't mind people asking me for parties.
This way the next time, I need them for a party. They automatically join.
But, Yoshito... You NEED to play REDMAGE!!
Got FastCast 4 + Dispels and Debuffs.
a level 60 Redmage can do as much damage as a same level blackmage with a moldavite and wizards earring and( because the blackmage can't Abuse his power unless he wants to be creamed.)
Redmage can heal faster than a Whitemage
and can Rez 1.... I'm sure you knew that.
But for the speed you could level with this character. You really don't need the rez. But hey, Don't speed through life.
Just feel the uberness of Redmage.
p.s. I'm wishing for $150 for account it has FULL AF + All summons except Fenrir. It has alot stuff. Really the equipment if all sold would fetch $100
p.s.s. I'm lazy will accept $100 or offers for account.
p.s.s. Same type of Redmage would sell for around$350 on IGN

Wow... @.@ I remember another member in our LS who dual-boxed a RDM and WAR. His team was insane... athough his healing with the alt was a bit slower (on a laptop).
I'm actually trying to get out of MMORPGs for a while. Went from FF XI -> Lineage 2 -> EQ2 -> WoW -> Guild Wars. Sorta quit GW and back on WoW. I need a break from online paying. @.@ So I don't burn myself out.
Good luck with your "trade". Maybe you'll have a better chance when the Xbox 360's version comes out.
