I don't know if you can find a copy of it now, but Entombed was an awesome puzzle game! No shooting or dying, just tons of intriguing puzzles to solve in order to get out of an ancient tomb. Um. Was actually a lot better than it sounds. From Dreamcatcher I think. They make a lot of "puzzle" games.

Oh, and all the Myst games! Those are cool. :D

Yeah that's right. Perhaps there are a few exceptions.

I recommend Intellegent Cube if you can ever get your hands on a copy. Its an old PS1 puzzle game and so addicting! I also recommend Puyo Puyo and Bubble Bobble if you like cuteness.

I've heard so much about the Myst games and never have had a chance to play even one. I'll have to get my hands on a copy. Other than PC is this game out for any of the gaming systems?

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

I like many types of games. Action, rpg, etc etc...... but my favorite would have to be shooting. Such as Goldeneye & Perfect Dark on N64....and Halo 1&2 on Xbox. I really love shooting games. Also one of my all-time favorite game is Zelda on N64.

I'm on the RPG bandwagon here. I used to play some console games when I was a kid, but the only games I've seriously played within the past few years are Dark Ages of Camelot and World of Warcraft.

I, like most of the other people, voted for RPGs. Role playing games
have always been my favorite genre of game because you get the
most entertainment for your money. There's more time invested, which
allows better character development. It's a genre I always return to.
