Does anyone know where they have them like ON SALE?

If worse comes to worse one of my friends in Eb or Gamestop can get me one!

I don't think you're going to catch a huge deal on these -- since Nintendo pretty much sets the price. I just picked one up for my brother as a gift at my local Fry's Electronics (frys.com or outpost.com) for $154.99.

Quick question: is it true that you can play games from Japan on the DS (the games aren't region-locked somehow)? I'm so excited about getting mine I wanted to know since I'm seeing all these cool games I want

Yup, you can totally play Japanese games on any DS. :) My first DS actually came straight from Japan (back when the pink one was never released state-side) and it could play anything.

I always get the Ouendan (Elite Beat Agents) games imported. XD

Well rub rabbits and trauma center under the knife use the touch screen a ton. And there both very good games.

Man if I didn't already own a ds i'd buy the shiny golden zelda one.

I did want a Zelda edition DS but passed up on it at the last moment. I put to much money into accessorizing my pink DS that I purchased 5 months ago.

Oh! Thanks! I'm going to try to get 2!... Lol one for the gold DS lite I buy and one for reserving some games!

It's a real bummer for me that there isn't any promotional standee's anymore.

Gamestop stopped doing standee's and now only has flimsy posters... I always liked collecting the standees!
