Recommendations for 2-player PS3 or PS2 games?

Am currently playing Oblivion, my hubby and I take turns while one of us reads the walkthru'...even then it's gonna take hrs and hrs to complete.

I wish they could just make Oblivion for 2 players... Like with a split screen! It would be like a Guantlet game like in the old times...

That would be awesome...

but I just saw Rockband special edition for PS3 for $74 at RadioShack...
