Fave videogame character - final round - closed
Aw, and Aeris is in it for what feels like even less time . The one who murdered her gets more screentime than the beautiful woman who died healing the planet until the very end (and beyond the grave even )!he is only in the movie for about eight minutes--even in AC Complete.
Ooh, what's this though? I go away for a few days and suddenly Link is a billion miles ahead XD! Holy moly... Ah well. Considering the Zelda games themselves are amazing from SNES onwards, it's deserving of some love ^.^.
Still, I say vote Squall!!!! Besides the introspection, Squall's got style XD. He doesn't even hate his enemy... Capable of reason, and eventually even love... Squall's a thinking person's protagonist through and through .
This fan had NO idea that there were so many 'bishie' images of Squall floating around the net though until now... XD
Of course, Aeris is not prominently featured in all the promotional materials
up to and including all the covers of the DVD boxes!!!
And I don’t think he would feel too bad about killing someone, when no one knows better than Sephiroth
that death can be a very temporary condition in the world of FFVII!
This is, what, his third time around after all!

And why has he returned? Meteor’s gone…What does he want now?
I always thought it a bit of a stretch in the original FFVII that he wants to rule the planet,
seeing as he was never allowed charge of his even own life under Shinra, be it in the Lab or in SOLDIER.
What’s he gonna do? How would he administrate it? “Puppetâ€

This "Cosmos Cruise" is a load of hooey …and Sephiroth knows it!
To find out what he really wants, you have to look,
not in the game,
not in the movie,
but at tag paragraphs at the end of chapters of the scenarists novella!
In an afterlife more appalling than the one offered by BLEACH (you suffer there, but at least you get to be -you),
FF7 has everyone dissolving back into the Lifestream (unless you’re a Cetra, they can choose not to )

Sephiroth refuses to lose himself, and by shear force of will, manages to keep some of his identity by holding on to his resentment …and his memory of the man who killed him, twice. But everything else, his childhood, his friends, even his memory of his physical appearance, is stripped away from him… This resentment reaches those living on the planet, and manifests itself in a physical plague. When those afflicted die, they too, resent it, and refuse to be dissolved into the mass consciousness, causing problems in the Lifestream… A certain Cetra (who has no problem keeping herself and her spirit intact ) “fixes†|
