I'm being good, I promise. :)

Just one thought that perhaps will make some of those who have been around awhile laugh: doesn't this kind of banter occur pretty much every year? It's practically a tradition in its own right :P Perhaps there should be an award for who can come up with the most pointless complaint ;). *laughs* At least that would make a few people chuckle and remind the majority of us of one unequivocal truth: most of us take ourselves and our artwork FAR too seriously. Let's lighten up a little, shall we? ;) For the sake of fun, of course :D

I finally voted. For some categories, my choice was obvious, but for others, I had a tough time between two or even three entries.

Thanks again for all the hard work, and don't go too cross-eyed from digging through all the votes. 8)

I like where this thread is going now. This group deserves kudos. And I do agree with Zero. Seems like part of the tradition of the Beta awards is the idea that there will always be controversy made out of nothing at all. All traditions have a little bad in them. Look at Thanksgiving. You get to join together with relatives that you rarely see anymore and catch up. However, when you shake the family tree, the nuts eventually show up. The Yin and the Yang.

Thanks for going through the trouble to posting those mini pics next to the entry numbers. It really helped keep everything straight :D

:rollin Ain't that the truth. Seems its true with any large group of people sharing something in common--be it cels or blood. All systems are flawed, and the Beta Awards has never been any exception; however, I believe the Awards have long been dependent on the honesty of the participants, and despite one seemingly bad apple, this year's awards are no exception.

Hey, I'm just the vote counter, I didn't make or program anything. 100% of the kudos so far goes to the other three.

I've gotta say GOOD JOB to those thre as well!

Have you guys been wondering who cheated? How about I tell you all.

It was Starfighter...

He sent in two entries using two names on beta. He apparently had two accounts and original thought it was "ok" to use both because there was no rules stating that he couldn't.

So stop sending the hate messages to anyone but the person who cheated. He even admitted that he cheated and then he changed his story to wanting to "test the system."

In other words, he wanted to cheat, and win, but when he was caught he was like "oh fuck" and tried to change his story. No worries cause all the bastards submissions have been removed. Now lets have some fun with the awards for a change...

We should thank Starfighter. He set out to test the system, and he proved it worked 100%! So kudos to the Awards crew, and huzzah to Star. He took one for the team. What a selfless guy...HA, just kidding, he's a douche nozzle. Hasta la fuego, cheater.
