I did actually participate one year in the cel contest, but I have the same question as I did in the Open House thread? Are there any plans or desires to do a 2017 cel contest?

I actually decided not to continue running the contests... If anyone wants to pick up the mantle feel free. It is much too time consuming and there is very little reward to doing it. I feel like participating and running 6 contests is enough... Anyone else is welcome to do it, and I will be here in an advisory capacity.

I would be more than happy to continue running the contest, however I would need to see if it's doable for me right now, time wise, especially since this is busy season for me when it comes to work. I also have something awesome (and huge) that I need to focus on and prepare for right now, that will happen in April, which is when the sketch contest usually begins. Therefore I won't be able to run that contest again in the spring. However I can always run the contests a bit later on, provided nobody else decides to give it a shot this time around.
