Not much time left. I wasn't going to do this, but I'd rather post this information than have categories not get enough entries to be viable.

Categories which need more entries:
* Death/Dying
* Special Effects
* Vehicle

*Hentai

In the event that Comic/manga & shikishi/autographs do not get enough entries, can we combine the catagories as had been done in previous years? It makes a lot more sense to combine then rather than tell those entrants to submit something else.

Or perhaps comic/manga could go back to being in the cel awards, since shikishi obviously has enough entries.

And I seem to remember some comic/manga collectors saying they missed the sketch awards last time (2009) because they were not interested/or didn't collect sketches.

That would put the category back into the contest where it has previously been.

I mean...If it doesn't get enough entries by the cut off this time...

I was under the impression that what to do with those categories is a decision that was made independent of this particular contest, so I'm not too sure those suggestions should be made to Rei.

Rather, it might be something to be brought up at the conclusion of the contest as a new discussion for future contests.

I would also hope that everyone who was/has been vocal as to how the contest should be run at least enters this contest!

My interest in the shikishi- comic/manga thing was purely as a voter...
as I said before, I don't have any myself

But I do believe I've got one of those categories listed above as needy!

Even if you don't have items for those categories, please consider entering anyways.

This contest is shaping up to be a lot of fun; many gorgeous and interesting pieces have been entered, so far.
