No new entries since the last update :
Let's try and make all of the categories green, if possible!

This makes me so sad, there were so many entries last year!!!

So the two Tara's of the Anime Beta world were thinking, that since there have been a low number of entries, that we may lift the limit on how many pieces you can enter. If you have enough sketches for every contest, great! We would hate to see so many categories get eliminated.

Also, I may end up bumping up the dates for everything by 2 days, since I wasn't thinking about the fact that I had submission ending Saturday night, which is right in the middle of my concert weekend this weekend. That way it will be easier for me to work with any last minute entries.

So how about the new schedule as:
April 16-May 2: Submit Entries
May3-4: Viewing Period
May 5-25: Voting Period
Winners announced: May 31

Since there aren't any objections and it's a win-win for all, you may now enter in every single category if you wish. Also, I'm adjusting the dates so that submission doesn't end on Saturday. It's going to be too crazy of a weekend for me to worry about making sure everything is submitted in time on Saturday. So you can now submit more items and you have until Monday to do so!!!

Muscles - Beef, brawn flesh, sinew, tendon. (S, Sh)

OPTIONAL: Hentai/Yaoi/Yuri - The risque genres, nudity not a requirement however it must be from a Hentai, Yaoi, or Yuri anime with a higher maturity rating! (S, H)
OPTIONAL - Fan Art - Made by you or another artist. (S, P)
OPTIONAL: Posteriors - the backs of anime in a non sexual way. (Do you have a cel of someone's butt? The back of their head? The back of their knees? Do you feel it is not appreciated because its someones back, this is the category for you!) (S, Sh)
OPTIONAL: Settei - Characters, items or scenery. Settei are not allowed in any other category. (MS)
OPTIONAL - Sexy - Male, Female... Whatever! Whatever gets your motors revving! This I know is a highly subjective category we shall test it out and see how it goes! (S, Sh)

Awards can be given to 14 categories! There are still quite a few categories that don't have enough entries for an award! And just a few that don't have any entries at all. FIVE more days left to submit your entries!!

And just a reminder-there is no limit on the number of entries you can submit!

KK All the padding is uploaded to Survey Monkey, and I am still expecting entries from two Beta members that have promised me entries, via nagging... I.E. Special Jadeduo fun love time!! ^_^

I think it's good that I extended the dates a little, because I really don't want to have to worry about it during my crazy rock concert weekend. I can't extend them too much more though, because I have the dates set to have it end right before Megacon, as I will be gone for that for 4 whole days for that.

Every single category has at least one entry now! There are a few that are in danger of being cut, so let's get some more entries for those especially!!!

There are quite a few new entries from 3 different people!!! Glad to see it!! I know a couple more that plan on submitting as well!!

Finally got a chance to submit. Planning on trying to get a few more in before the deadline.

I literally just went through like 30 emails and who knows how many submissions, and I'm already tired, but I don't think I made any mistakes. Make sure to check over your entries once it's time for the viewing period!!

If you sent an animated gif and did not send a thumbnail still from it, I had to screenshot at some point during the animation. If you do not like the image that I selected for your animation, you can send me a different image to use instead, during the viewing period.

There are only three categories in danger of being cut!!! Itadakimasu, hentai, and fanart. Send us your sketches of people stuffing food in their faces, naked people, or go draw your favorite character!

Submission for the contest has ended and it is now time to view the Rubberslug gallery!!

There were a lot of emails, especially over the last couple of days! I do not think that I missed any entries, but just in case, please view the RS to make sure that all of your entries are on there! RS did give me some trouble uploading certain images, and it seemed to be an issue when the file names was too long. Also while checking your entries-make sure that I put the series name and character name correctly. I did my best to make sure to write those just like they were given with each submission!

All of the entries should have the series name first and then the character names to make it all uniform. If I got yours backwards, due to not recognizing the anime or character names, just let me know!

Reminder-if you did not send me a thumbnail from your animation, I had to take a random screenshot from it. If you do not like the image I came up with, now is the time to send me the image you would prefer!

Also we had 19 people submit their sketches to this contest!!! There are a total of 211 submissions!!!!
