Selling on Y!J?
Selling on Y!J?
Well, I'm thinking of selling my lovely Misato cel, and figured I'd get more of a bang for my buck for her on the japanese market.
Anyone out there offer this service? If so, what are the fees, etc? I'm interested in hooking up with someone who can do this, and knowing fees, etc. I'd be happy to pay an auctioneer fee, etc.
Any thoughts, ideas, offers before she may head to the japanese market?
Thanx!

My guess would be no. I'm assuming you need to have a Japanese address to have a Japanese credit card. But you'd have to contact the bank issuing the cc for their rules. And honestly, I wouldnt' want to go through the hassle. I highly suggest that you only accept paypal and money orders for your payment.

Hello,
Thanks for your explanation.
I understand most people in Japan do not want to use paypal because it's quite complicate to sign up. And in fact, money order cost them quite a lot if the item is not that expensive, they are not willing to try this option to buy.
Thanks you guys for taking your time to answer my question.
Have a great day!

Japanese international postal money orders aren't really that expensive - I used to use them all the time to send money home. However, they are a little time-consuming and complicated, and the person sending it would have to go to the post office during banking hours, which can be difficult to do if they have to work. The reason so many people prefer bank transfer is not only do they immediately get the money, but ATMs are open later than banks and you can do the transfer from almost anywhere. But I guess it would depend on how much they want the item - goodness knows, I've gone through some hoops in my time to get stuff I really wanted.

Celga will list items on Y!J for a somewhat reasonable rate. http://www.celga.com/agent.html
I believe at least one or two A-B members have utilized this service.
