Sample?

Why do some of the images of YJ say sample? Is that a way of marking the images or what? It just worries me that it's either - here's a sample of what we can draw for you - OR - you'll get an image like this one but not this one.

I believe you're talking about one of my favorite sellers, Strike_vent.

Speaking only for this seller, it's just a way of preventing image theft. This particular person doesn't sell fancels or any other cheap knock-offs. That's probably why he has some ubber pricey cels, and how most of them never sell on the first few rounds. Many of his cels are up for over a year(they gradually lower in price) because no one wants to pay that much for those cels.

In most cases all the word "Sample" on the image is a means of image protection like some interpose their gallery name on their images to cut down on image theft.

I have bought several cels on YJ that had such on the image and the cels were real and fine.

Thanks! I thought it was more watermarking than anything else, especially since it's several different sellers.

I just wanted to be sure.
