Is Yahoo Adjusting Their Pages Again?

Post by Keropi »

I'm getting strange returns from YJ surfing tonight.

One completed auction webpage won't translate properly using Google Traslate or my LEC Software program. With my software program it sends me to a YJ webpage that says something about logging in so that we can be sure your not doing something harmful to the website. It says to the effect that I'm most likely not one of them, but we ask you to login anyway. I don't get this with any other YJ completed auction webpage tonight only that one and I am logged in (it's not in the adult section). I am not able to post the URL YJ sends me too either (Why?). :puzzled It says the page doesn't exist when I cut and paste the URL.

The second problem I'm having is with this YJ completed auction page:

http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g71172406

Are any of you guys able to get it to load in Internet Explorer? It works with Firefox, but not IE which I find very strange (but this is the only page I get this error with too). Weird evening I'm having here. :wow:

EDIT:

Okay the second page is working now. I should take a screenshot of the first one.

Okay here we go. For some reason this webpage is acting differently when you try to translate it:

http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e86714757

The webpage works NOW. It should stop working within the next day because it's an old auction page. When I tried to translate it I got this screen:

(CUT AND PASTE THE URL FOR IT TO WORK)
http://terencepage.tripod.com/aYJscreen ... 72009a.JPG

It's the only old auction page that doesn't work while being translated so for some reason it's on another system compared to the others. I get an error message with Google Translate also so I'm just wondering why this might be this way. :o

It's a good way to kill translation programs.
