I've been watching the auction out of curiosity to see what it ended it. Wow. SSJ2 Gohan still goes high. 87,500jpy with the conversion rate puts it at $1115.

I put up a fight until about $1000 then gave up on it. Very nice cel though, just not worth that much to me since I've seen the father/son cel which I would gladly pay much much more for.

Yep, I knew it would fetch a decent amount, but I actually didn't expect it to peak where it did. Hopefully I can check it out in a gallery soon.

Congrats to whoever got it. I think I may take up the option of only buying 1 or 2 cels a year, but prized cels that I can compete for when I need to.

I remember that father/son cel auction on YJ. I was trying to think of a way to afford that cel and then the auction was taken off. Methinks, a private offer was made that was too good to pass up. So I had to settle for this:
