Every Thanksgiving and Christmas, I am "Stuffing Girl" in my house. It's not stuffing unless it's in the bird *AND* made from scratch... And I *just now* finished this holiday's batch. :D

Our traditional stuffing receipe is made with cornbread, sausage, and apples. It takes frigging forever to make, but dang it.... You'll NEVER want that Stove Top garbage again! :D :D

Many Sharp Smiles,

Ick. In the garbage. Hate stuffing.

I only asked this because there are a lot of people down here in Texas that don't stuff the bird and make a huge pan of chicken and broken up cornbread on the side :?

No bird...from scratch...Yummmmmm....
This year, I'm tryin' something new - figs. We'll see how that goes! I usually add fresh cranberries, but I'm getting wild! I'm also adding Portabella mushrooms - instead of Shitaki. I know...I'm crazy!

Well, it ought to be in the bird, but I think we were cheap this year and made it in a pot. It's still good.
