No kidding... I think Kleenex stock went through the roof when FMA went public. :^^:

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

I think that it is episode six where it turns, so don't think that you have an extra freebie before you start the pain :l

So far, I don't like it in that "have to collect", starry-eyed way that some shows capture my heart.
Same here. That is how it currently is with every series I watch/read.

Well, I should never have ventured into this topic. 8O
I started watching FMA last night. Got through the first
three episodes. Now I am afraid to go any further. X|
I almost quit watching Naruto after the whole Haku thing.
I just can't handle sad animes. **sigh*** :(

Watch it! Watch it watch it watch it! It's an excellent show, and the characters are amazing. It would be sad to miss out just because it's not cute. And think of it as, say, the first arc of 12K- a hell of a lot of angst, but all for a good purpose.

Pudge, it took me a while to get past episode 3. That one tore me apart. That's when my tissues came out and the stock prices in Kleenex have been raising ever since. :) It's so worth it though.
Can you hear this fangirl squee?!

What tore me about was the last episode of the first season...episode 25 or 26. I could not stop crying and it scarred me enough to be scared of finishing the series. But after a few weeks of therapy, I finished it and I'm so glad that I did. It definitely goes in my personal top 10.

Ready for the movie!!!
