Oversize Cels

I've seen many oversize cels with different shapes. Which ones would you prefer. Longer horizontally or vertically?

For me i like it longer horizontally. I think it looks better when its shorter in height but longer in length. Also, if it's longer horizontally, there could be more characters fitted in the cel.

I voted vertical because usually it means a very detailed cool scene of my character in all their full body gloriness.

This is a tough question, now that I am thinking of it!

I have basically two real pan cels:
Horizontal

Vertical

I think the vertical one has slight more detail, but not (much) more than the horizontal one. The only reason why I chose the horizontal one is because it looks better on the wall when the frame doesn't look as all as a window. It just kinda sticks out like a sore thunb..

It doesn't matter to me, I just use my scissors and cut them down to fit the folder anyway!

I have both... I am more interested in the scene than if the cel is a vert or horz.

This poll needed a c) "both" or "don't care". I've got a few oversized cels and it never entered my mind whether or not to buy because of which way it's going. It's what's going on in it that matters.

I too would rather choose a cel because of the scene and the characters.

Some of the cels I buy, I don't even check whether they are oversize or not, lol! It was a surprise when I saw that the Touya cel was so big.

But a nice surprise.

I'm going to have to echo a lot of the others and say that it really depends on the character/scene.

For the poll's sake though, I chose vertical because that usually means a nice pan body shot of the character. However, I'm not going to turn my nose up at a nice horizontal pan.

As previously mentioned, it depends more on the scene/character(s) than
anything else. However, if I have to choose, I can think of a lot more
impressive vertical pans than I have horizontal, so I went with that.
