Misc. section or One cel sections?

Since I'm on a roll in asking stupid questions here's another one:

What do you prefer when looking through a gallery?

A) a miscellaneous section with several cels from different shows

or

B) a section for each show even if that means there's only one cel in that section.

The reason I ask?
Well...I have a few "one cel glory" sections and I just added another (Nightwalker),
but I would like to know what the general preference is

It's easy

Classify into guys and girl cels...

Classify into Hentai and non-hentai for NSP....

I can understand the need for a "Miscellaneous section". It's nice to have all the cels in one spot to be able to see them more quickly.

But personally...I usually would rather have:

B) a section for each show even if that means there's only one cel in that section.

The reason I prefer it that way is because I'm usually looking for less common artwork. When artwork is in their own sections, they're easier to see and get to right away. When I come to a miscellaneous sections, I have to click each page just to see what's there. It's usually a bit cumbersome for me.

But I don't mind clicking all those Miscellaneous Pages if the person has at least one uncommon artwork from a show that interests me. If they have one item in there from a series I collect from that's even better.

But that doesn't happen very often.

I usually pass over Misc sections, since my internet is so slow at loading the images. It's much easier for me, when I browse, to know exactly what series the owner has.

I'm a one cel section person.. it makes it easier for those looking for stuff from a specific show. I will often peruse miscellaneous sections, but I'd still prefer each show to be listed separately...

Now what I did on my main website is I created a miscellaneous page.. but each show is listed separately on the main page and they all link to that page. This is simple to do if you run your own site, but not possible on Rubberslug, so for RS galleries - one cel sections are the way to go, IMO.

I went with this choice. My Cowboy Bebop cel has it's own.
Of course I hope someday to add more like I've done with Trigun.

For me the only Misc. I have are my bonus cels and I only open it to public viewing for a limited time anyway.

I too don't mind a Misc series, but when I search for anime shows I like or collect this makes it a challenge. Esp. with the Rs series search. Due to the success of Rs I find things get lost. You know sometimes cels from a series get lost when the owner dosen't give the title of the show.

I go for the misc. section with my gallery until I get a few cels of a series then make it's own section.

IMO I tend to get lost in some gallerys that have so many sections subdived that they resemble a certain beta members coughshampoocough wishlist section. As with everything each person is free to set up their gallerys however it pleases them. I just perfer a simpler set up with mine.

That would be me!

Personally I would not like to have to break down a shows cels. But some viewers computer access it works better this way.

I hope jason will come-up with a better gallery cover page design someday. Maybe with an image page then going to a list page or something like that.

If you got the Nightwalker cel I *think* you got ....

you should most definitely display it in its own section. Because it'll make it much, much easier to stalk.

I do my gallery both ways. On my main site, I have an omake section for all the "one cel" shows --- those pieces I just could not resist, even though I don't (at the moment) collect from the show. On RS, though, I list them in their own sections by show, even if there is just one cel. I think it is easier because the RS search engine will pick it up that way.

Well, I love Misc. sections...There's always hidden treasures in them. I don't like the one cel glory sections much...cause sometimes galleries overflow with them. I have one for my Yaoi cel...But that's only b/c of its genre...Don't want any unsuspecting straight men having to look at 2 guys goin' at it ;P!

So, my vote's for a Misc. section. Even though most people never visit mine...but...Hey...It's their loss! That's where some of the best cels in my gallery are ;P!

I figure if you're a collector...you'd wanna look at everything \^.^/!
