My wife won a cel and was sent the "you've won" notice from ebay. He didn't like the price the cel sold for and refused to sell it. Then tried to report US to ebay for harassment when we told him we wanted the cel and he was breaking the rules. GRRRRRR!!!

I suddenly got an e-mail from Paypal saying that she paid for the items! I don't know what the Hell to think of this. Last night she was telling me that she found the items for cheaper and refused the items. Now, suddenly I get Paypal payment. O.O Ummmmmm . . . . should I be worried here?

Just make sure to send out the item within 10 days and that it was sent to the confirmed shipping address. Keep the tracking # and for safe measures, go to the paypal account and input the tracking # so even if you loose it, it'll be recorded in paypal and when you do that, paypal actually sends the tracking # to them, so you don't have to. Even if they do a chargeback on their credit card, paypal will reimburse the payment.

I would email her to let her know that you received a payment for the items that she said she didnt want. Ask if she changed her mind and is wanting them now. Makes the situation feel a little fishy. Be careful she may have paypal freeze your account and take the funds back. I'm sorry you are having to go though this. :(

Most likely they read that your bid is your contract and decided you would not let them out of it.

Wait a till Monday for the paypal to clear into your account then ship it.

Glad it worked out so far.

Maybe she finally realized that as she was responsible as the winning bidder that by not paying and causing trouble she risked hurting her positive feedback record or even her future ability to use ebay. I would wait until she posts feedback for you before posting any for her, however. She might want to get one last dig into you via negative feedback.

I am still in shock. This situation has never happened before, and I have been on Ebay since 1997!! The Paypal cleared and has a confirmed address. 8O

Well, I just hope she won't find some way to cause more trouble. I can't help but be suspicious after the nasty e-mails.

I would be suspicous too after nasty emails.

But as said before, enter the tracking number since its proof that it has been sent and so you are not at risk of a chargeback. Perhaps shift the funds into your bank account aswell to doubly make sure they can't do a chargeback.

As far as I know (from personal experience), when a chargeback occurs against you, Paypal only take funds available from your Paypal account. At least that's what they did when I filed a complaint against a seller. They just gave me what was in their Paypal account, even though I know that they registered a bank account since they told me in one of their excuses that they were, "waiting for funds to go into bank account before sending item". Plus they didn't have any transactions as a buyer on Ebay, so it was unlikely they spent it. And I got back less than half of what I originally paid. x.x

Don't worry, I don't do buyer complaints with Paypal often. ^_^; Only that one time over three years. And I really doubted that they sent my item, it's not often I get that gut feeling about a seller. I paid for some DVDs and they didn't turn up after nearly two months and with hardly any contact from the seller. The seller became NARU also for some reason. Perhaps not paying Ebay fees.

WTF!?? So, I need to send her a refund minus the fees and she can decide yes or no?? MY BRAIN HURTS!!!!!!!!!!

OK, I think I now know what she is doing. She wants me to give her back a refund, minus the fees. However, if she refuses, then I would have to completely refund her. Now, here is the rub . . .

If she were to refuse to accept the terms for the fee subtraction, I would have to file a NPB complaint in order to get my fees back. HOWEVER, it now shows on record that she did pay for the item and that I refunded her, therefore, can easily appeal the NPB complaint and I won't get my fees back.

This has gotten to be annoying. Any suggestions? Should I offer her the choice of a refund minus fees or the choice of sending the dolls?

Tell her that she WON the item at AUCTION, then she needs to PAY for said item. End of story. No refunds, no exchanges, no price-drops. If she doesn't like it, then ask her why she sent you money.

I'd just refund all of it unless she's paying in full for the dolls. That way payment is not down on record with Ebay and you can file a NPB.

That's the problem. It shows on Ebay that she paid for the items, regardless of whether or not I refund her. It will still show that she attempted to pay. So, I can't file a NPB Report. She can easily appeal the NPB by showing them the transaction ID on Paypal and prove that she attempted to pay, and as a result, Ebay would reverse the decision. Either I am giving her way too much credit or she is a clever B**CH.

Personally, I think you should start getting tough. She is responsible for payment of your auction. Ebay does not allow "buyer's remorse" as a reason to not complete your transaction. You are not obligated to do any of the stuff she wants you to do.
As you (and she) knows:

Ebay states in its User Agreement.
As a buyer, you are obligated to complete the transaction with the seller:
if you purchase an item through one of our fixed price formats; or
if you are the highest bidder at the end of an auction (meeting the applicable minimum bid or reserve requirements) and your bid is accepted by the seller, unless the item is listed in a category under the Non-Binding Bid Policy or the transaction is prohibited by law or by this Agreement.

By bidding on an item you agree to be bound by the conditions of sale included in the item's description so long as those conditions of sale are not in violation of this Agreement or unlawful. Unless you and the seller agree otherwise, you will become the item's lawful owner upon physical receipt of the item from the seller...
...and that's what I'd tell her. You can be polite about it, but as far as ebay is concerned at this point, she has won your auction, she has paid you; you should send her dolls (and get insurance so she doesn't try for a refund that way). If you decide to do that, I'd also transfer her money to your bank account before emailing her.
