my one week anniversary!
[shadow=darkred][glow=red]Today marks my first week without a cigarette. [/glow][/shadow]
Man that 3rd day was hard
I think I might just make it this time.

Kick the habit now as you're just making life harder down the road for both
yourself and those around me if you don't. I've had several relatives die
from the habit, going through voicebox removal, cancer treatments, having
parts of their lungs removed, being on oxygen, etc. Just recently, my dad
had a big scare where they discovered a spot on his lungs. Luckily, it turned
out that it wasn't cancer like we had suspected, but it was emphysema which
means that his lungs are permanently damaged. He's not to the point where
he's going to have to go on oxygen or have surgery, but it has slowed him
down quite a bit as you can't do as much when you can't breathe well. The
only good thing about the experience as it was a wake-up call for him and he
listened to it. He's now kicked the habit. Now, if I can just get my mom to
do the same. She seems to want to blame my dad for getting her started in
the first place more than to stop.

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

Far out.
The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

congrats on your first week!
my mum said when she quit she had really vivid dreams about her smoking a cig, and she's wake up wondering if she really had or not.

Perhaps. Let's get back to that later. Do you think I should know that?
