A couple of very nice NGE cels up right now.
How high will they go?

Yeah those are some amazing scenes (and they are key cels too). I would go for that Shinji/Rei but I would imagine that scene would be a little hard to display in a frame.

ex:

Me: "Hey check out my new Eva cel there"
Other person: "Uhh dude I didn't know you were into kidding porn"

*edit* Ok, I guess they are 14 but that is still considered illegal

Yeah...My 96000 yen bid was already beat out for the Asuka movie cel. That's one of my fav scenes in the whole movie. *sigh*

Mine, too - but the current bid's at 100,100Y with still over a day left???

I'll bet it hits the 120,000Y mark before close and may go up past 140,000Y.

If you want a nice Asuka cel for 100,000 yen, that's the price of the one that's for sale at the Mandarake Shibuya store. I took a picture of it the other day, just added it to the Album for you.

Well... I was wrong - it never went past 100,100 yen. Probably has something to do with the fact that there's some pretty nice competition on YJ! (some very nice Rei's and a sweet close-up of unit 02). Ah well, one of these days I shall find my perfect Asuka *shakes fist*!

105,000 Yen for the Rei cel, 21 and 42,000 for the Misato, respectively without and with the background. About 60,000 for the Asuka, and 50,000 for the Eva 01 one.
There was also a wonderful Princess Mononoke cel (not shown on the picture) at 360,000 Yen
